Junior Accountant
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a dynamic and responsible individual, as a Full-time Junior Accountant, in Nicosia.

Main Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping
- Maintain accounting books and records and ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
- Issue sales invoices
- Input purchase invoices
- Weekly income – Expenses report
- Monthly reconciliations (Banks, Visas, Petty Cash, Intercompany, Debtors, Creditors)
- Payroll using e-soft software/ Preparation of Social Insurance monthly payments
- Agreeing year end balances
- Assisting with the preparation of final accounts (Trial Balance, P & L, Balance Sheet)
- Preparation of VAT Returns to be submitted
- Preparation and payment of S. I. and PAYE
- Ensuring that internal/external deadlines are met
- Drafting VAT, VIES and INTRASTAT documentation
- Any other related duties
Requirements:
- LCCI Higher Diploma or University Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Accounting principles.
- Knowledge of current legislation regarding VAT and Taxation (VIES/INTRASTAT)
- E-Soft Software Knowledge is a must
- Experience in the Financial Services industry will be considered as an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
- Perfect knowledge of Greek and Fluency in the English language, oral and written is a must
- Communication and Collaboration skills
